Museums

Brickfields is the home of a very impressive carriage museum. It probably houses one of the best collections of carriages and horse drawn vehicles in the south of England. There would be almost one of every type of horse drawn vehicle that would have been used throughout the ages.

All of the vehicles are road worthy and are taken out at different times; especially the wedding & funeral vehicles, these can be seen out & about regularly.

The museum also houses a multitude of other interesting equipment and bygones. One other collection that can be seen in the museum is a very extensive range of radios of all shapes and sizes.
